Our Story
Sinapse Global was founded on a passion to give back. With years of experience in business, special needs education, and non-profit service, we knew our combined skills could contribute something unique to the world. “Sinapse” – inspired by the Bosnian word for “synapses” – reflects our purpose: to be a connector, like synapses in the human nervous system, that brings people and ideas together for change.
Our approach combines specialized expertise in consulting and a holistic, systems-thinking perspective. - Lia Strand – Special Needs Education Specialist
With years in special needs education consulting across countries, Lia has a unique ability to bridge educational and cultural divides. Her experience includes overseeing the first translation of a cognitive development program, and her work continues to support families and individuals with cognitive disabilities worldwide.
Together, Michael and Lia are dedicated to serving clients with a hands-on, outcome-oriented approach that brings real value to organizations, families, and communities.
